that I don't need be covered in fur or paint or have blue hair or a
utili-kilt to be a participant...
as there are plenty of interesting looking folk around. i took
pictures of people who caught my eye, pictures of non - participants,
pictures of parents lookiing for their kids...
and so on. this was a really fascinating project - because in talking to them, most folks didn't think that they were burning man photo material, which is similar to my feeling of being an outsider until i started talking to folks... (launches another browser and connects to a different website.) |

Domes, Tents, Bikes,
Kitchen --- what it's like to get around on a bike, pictures of
geodesic domes (the exterior of many, the inside of
my village's dome) my tent, the kitchen... some of the basics in the middle of nowhere. ...maybe next year i will cover more mundane subjects like pictures of port-a-potties, showers, sunblock, water stockpiles (and empty water container piles) (launches another browser and connects to a different website.) |
